With a little bit of know-how, it's not too difficult to build a decent paper airplane. But even the most elegant of creations won't stay up in the air longer than a few seconds...
Well, that is unless you've got the PowerUp 2.0, which allows you to extend the flight of your normal paper airplane so it'll stay in the air for more than 30 seconds. Woo-hoo!
The first step of course is the folding. –Maybe you've got a proven model you like to create? Then just use it with the PowerUp 2.0. Or, if you're like most of us who only seem to be able to come up with sad nose-divers, have a look at the suggested, enhanced designs.
Choose from x4 types of airplanes. And don't worry, you don't need to be an origami master to make them!
The kit includes suitable thick paper, but you can use other paper too.
As soon as your new paper airplane is airworthy, then you're ready to install the propeller and battery. The rechargeable battery is clever as it works as a stabilising weight at the same time (you know, like paper clips in the old days!).
When everything is balanced, it's time to charge the battery with the handy charging station. This only takes about 20 seconds. You need x3 additional AA-batteries for the station. And make sure you test the whole structure before you charge the battery so it keeps its full charge for use.
Everything ready? Then let your paper airplane fly... 3, 2, 1 - lift off!
It will fly for around half a minute, something no regular paper airplane can possibly accomplish. The ultimate distance depends on the model, the wind, and other external influences, of course. But as soon as the charge is exhausted, simply recharge the battery again with the mobile charging station.
There's a second propeller included, so you don't have to stress about collisions.
The kit is recommended for children from ages eight to about eighty. ;) After all, why leave all the fun to the youngsters?!
