Since 1939, the character of billionaire Bruce Wayne, created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, who dresses up in a bat costume at night and fights crime as Batman, has enriched the world of superhero comics. Since then, numerous other cartoonists and artists have contributed to the character and his legacy. Be it in longer stories or short-lived special editions, there have been numerous variations and unique interpretations of The Dark Knight, but they all have one thing in common: they gave us plenty of artistic images to enjoy. The special Crystal Clear images take some of these works and reproduce them with unparalleled clarity. Set in wood and resin, they will beautify the walls of any true Batman fan! They are available in four different variations:

  • Gotham City takes the cover artwork of Batman comic no. 608 and reproduces it in true, vivid colour. The scene shows Batman standing on one of Gotham's iconic gargoyles, surveying the city with watchful eyes.
  • The Dark Knight depicts the silhouette of the hero in his iconic blue cape and matching mask. With only a few colours and simple lines, the essence of the character is beautifully captured.
  • The Doomsday Clock series brought the Watchmen into the DC universe - with serious repercussions. This cover image of issue #5 shows the Joker applying his makeup before facing his nemesis.
  • The Joker brings us face to face with the villain as depicted on the cover of the 8th issue of Justice League Vol. 4. Artist Mikel Janín's wild lines illustrate the deep, twisted psyche of this internally torn individual.
