Description: Interplanetary Postcards

  • Set of 15 coloured postcards
  • Images depict cuddly versions of planets in funny situations
  • Informational texts on the backsides offer additional information about our solar system
  • All texts are in English

In comparison with the approximately 14 billion-year-old universe, the entirety of human existence is rather small and insignificant. While we are just now taking the first steps towards conquering the final frontier of space, the planets of our solar systems (and the ones beyond) have been meandering around for aeons. If only Mars, Neptune and co. could talk and share their tales ...

Fortunately for us, the Interplanetary Postcards are here to shed light on the daily lives of the planets. On the 15 coloured postcards included in this set, you can see how cuddly versions of our celestial bodies go about their business and deal with mundane problems. On the back of each card, a short scientific text will provide you with additional information about the image. So you can not only send your greetings around the world but also pure knowledge. If you can bare to part with these nerdy postcards to begin with, that is.

This set was created in cooperation with Daniela Illing, who created the cute planets and Sebastian Spath, who supplied the scientific consulting. Feel free to check out more of their work by clicking on the links :).
