According to legend, famous martial artist Bruce Lee’s reflexes were so fast that his perfect punches and kicks were incapable of being captured by the cameras of his time. For this reason, the fight scenes in his movies are rumoured to have been slowed down (while others say that the camera’s frames per second had to be increased).
True or false, if there’s one thing this legend is not, it’s improbable. For instance, the wiry fighter was also known for his impressive “One Inch Punch”, a mighty punch from a distance of only a few centimetres, with which he easily felled a heavyweight karate champion in front of a big audience. He could do a lot of things that seemed impossible at first. Which is one of the reasons why his movies including world-famous fights, against e.g. Chuck Norris and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, are a must-watch for every martial arts fan.
The Bruce Lee “Kick” Collectible Figure honours the exceptional Kung Fu legend and his classic martial arts movies. Of course, the figure wouldn’t be complete without the iconic yellow tracksuit from Lee’s movie “Game of Death”. The enormous power and speed of Lee’s kick is symbolised by a trail of flames. The collectible figurine is standing on a diorama based on the background setting of Lee’s last movie, giving the hero balancing on one leg some stability – not that he needs it ;).
