The Lord of Light, the Red God, The Heart of Fire, the God of Flame and Shadows… just a few names given to the deity R'hllor in Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. Whereas most people in Essos believe in R'hllor, his disciples are spread considerably thinner in Westeros.

The Game of Thrones Notebook "The night is dark" shows one of his most faithful followers: Melisandre. Like her brother in spirit, Thoros, she is best known for resurrecting people. (And why not? Sounds great!) The proper instructions on how to do this can be found in this lined hardcover book. Sadly, they are written in invisible ink... But don't fret, you can still write other things in this book. And who knows, you might accidentally uncover R'hllor's secrets. If you do, please tell us why the most surprising, and definitely coolest, resurrection ever did not make it into the series. You know, the one that turns our hearts into stone... ;)
